The HMH Into Reading Structured Literacy First Grade Building Irregular Words Bundle turns high-frequency word study into a multisensory routine. Students build and read target words with snap cubes, press letters into playdough, place pom poms to mark sounds, and highlight the irregular part so it sticks. Activities support Science of Reading practices, orthographic mapping, and phoneme–grapheme connections for true mastery of irregular and heart words across Modules 1 to 9.
